San Francisco guitarist/composer Jude Gold is Associate Editor of
Guitar Player Magazine and has performed, toured, and/or recorded with
JGB (formerly the Jerry Garcia Band), the Oakland
Symphony, DJ Spooky, Kirk Hammett, Eddie
Money, Merl Saunders, 2 Live Crew, George Clinton and the P-Funk
All-Stars, David Grisman, and David St. Hubbins (actor Michael McKean) of Spinal Tap. The versatile guitarist was tapped to appear on the Bx3 tour by Stu Hamm, who hired Jude to play guitar on his 2000 album

Oakland California native John Mader has been a very busy drummer the last few years. In addition to performing with several Miles Davis band alumni, John has performed on stage with Grammy Award winning artists Steve Miller, Pat Benatar, Patti Austin, Angela Bofil, and Lenny Williams. John also has toured extensively with Pee Wee Ellis and Fred Wesley of the JBs (James Brown Horns/Parliament Funkedelics Horny Horns). Recently John has been touring with the Family Stone Experience (Formerly Sly and the Family Stone).
You can hear John's grooves on Patti Austin's Concord Records release "In and Out of Love" and Pee Wee Ellis' European releases "A Mighty Love" and "Live and Funky."
In his "spare time" John has also played drums for several Tony Award winning musicals including Disney's "The Lion King," "Rent," and the world premiere of "Wicked."
