As a follow up to the highly successful Mid-West / East Coast run in April of 06 we’re taking BX3 up a notch and routing throughout the Western U.S.

Bass Player Magazine is making BX3 the headline feature act at a Bass Player Magazine sponsored event in NYC where Stanley Clarke is receiving the lifetime achievement award.

Bass Player will also be sponsoring the 2007 Tour Kick Off Show @ NAMM 07.

Hamm is one of Fender's premier artists/clinicians, and his Hot Licks instruction video Slap Pop & Tap continues to be one of the best selling bass videos on the market.

Working closely with Fender's custom shop, Hamm developed the Urge and Urge II basses, two of the finest custom basses available. Stu also uses the Peavey amps.

Billy Sheehan, of Steve Vai, G3, Mr. Big, David Lee Roth, and Talas fame, brings his chops that earned him the Best Rock Bass Player title from Guitar Player magazine 5 times, an honor which placed him in their "Gallery of Greats" alongside Jimi Hendrix, Geddy Lee and Eddie Van Halen, to name a few.

In Japan, Billy won the prestigious Player Magazine Readers' Poll for Best Bass Player and unprecedented 14 consecutive times!

Jeff Berlin has quite a resume, having played with the likes of Billy Cobham, John McLaughlin, Jermaine Jackson, Isaac Hayes, Bill Bruford, Yes, Allan Holdsworth, Toots Thielemans, Larry Coryell, Arturo Sandoval, Michael and Randy Brecker, and Mike Stern.  Widely regarded as one of the best jazz bass players in the world, Berlin was voted #1 Jazz Bassist in Guitar Player magazine's Readers' Poll two years in a row.

Berlin founded the Players School of Music in Clearwater, Florida, and has been featured in Bass Player Magazine, Downbeat, Musician, International, and Chitarre, as well as having appeared on many television and radio shows worldwide.

San Francisco guitarist/composer Jude Gold is Associate Editor of Guitar Player Magazine and has performed, toured, and/or recorded with JGB (formerly the Jerry Garcia Band), the Oakland Symphony, DJ Spooky, Kirk Hammett, Eddie Money, Merl Saunders, 2 Live Crew, George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars, David Grisman, and David St. Hubbins (actor Michael McKean) of Spinal Tap. The versatile guitarist was tapped to appear on the Bx3 tour by Stu Hamm, who hired Jude to play guitar on his 2000 album Outbound.

JOHN MADER - drums
Oakland California native John Mader has been a very busy drummer the last few years. In addition to performing with several Miles Davis band alumni, John has performed on stage with Grammy Award winning artists Steve Miller, Pat Benatar, Patti Austin, Angela Bofil, and Lenny Williams. John also has toured extensively with Pee Wee Ellis and Fred Wesley of the JB’s (James Brown Horns/Parliament Funkedelic’s Horny Horns). Recently John has been touring with the Family Stone Experience (Formerly Sly and the Family Stone).

You can hear John’s grooves on Patti Austin’s Concord Records release "In and Out of Love" and Pee Wee Ellis’ European releases "A Mighty Love" and "Live and Funky."

In his "spare time" John has also played drums for several Tony Award winning musicals including Disney’s "The Lion King," "Rent," and the world premiere of "Wicked."
